Abstract:

Recent advances in bioinformatics and their application to medical informatics were the subjects of this conference,
which brought together speakers from many disciplines, including computer science, molecular biology, medicine
and physics. The major theme of the conference was that future efficient discoveries in molecular biology require
work on data integration. Effective integration of data from the disparate sources in biology can be divided into three challenges: infrastructure, data models and predictive analytical models.
